FASHION WEEK

Okay everyone (ie. those few readers that i may possibly still have after neglecting to blog for about a month)…. i’m back again, and i’m officially going to make the effort to CONTINUOUSLY make this happen. blogging is just too great for my life to be absent of it for much longer. life has been hectic these days, but through all of the craziness i managed to snag a ticket to two shows under the tent at Bryant Park last night: Milly and Mara Hoffman. they were my first two shows EVER and i am absolutely, utterly obsessed. fashion shows are as exciting and impressive as everyone says they are. the adrenaline in those tents is off the hook. and the feeling of being in a tent with those around you who are as obsessed with fashion as you are (if not more) as they peer through a critical eye as months worth of designer’s talent unfolds before you. the whole situ is just titilizing to the fashion obsessed.

i took some footage on the flip cam, as well as some blackberry camera pics which i will post, but about half way through each show i realized i had two options 1. get good footage  or 2. enjoy the show. and so, i chose the later. shotty pics and vid to come.

Herve’ bandage dresses are pretty damn drool worthy and after about a year of eyeing them i’ve become somewhat obsessed with owning one. If and when all my dreams come true I will be rocking this one. I tried a few on at Barney’s and for the way they flatter a figure they are worth the investment if your bank account is deep enough. (i’m still workin’ on that.)
